Useless Weapons (the messy proof of concept edition)
It was my best attempt for the 2026 winter IGU game jam.
I'm very sorry about the bad quality, for the lack of a tutorial in game :
- Arrows for moving, space for jumping, the rest is indicated in the UI
- You, of course, cannot harm enemies, but hitting them will also propel you
- Your weapons make noise, they can attract enemies. Well, especially the axe.
- The axe will always launch you back and up. Useful to gain height
- Your sword can be a pogo (useful against spikes) and also used to replace the missing lever of mechanisms and trigger them (hit the broken lever thing with it)

The part where I’m supposed to launch myself up with an axe up a tunnel above spikes is atrociously hard. Can you add wall sliding?
I totally did not see it that way and even had to look back at the level to even remember (reaaaaally threw that together at the last moment T^T). Yeah, I'll think about wall sliding, that sounds like a good idea
delightful imo!
My favorite game so far. RAGE inducing lol. I couldnt figure out how to open the 2nd door though after i got the sword and axe combo.
