HEARTATTACKMACHINE
Made for the 2026 IGU autumn jam in far less days than allowed :3
Theme is "you're the monster" and in this game, you're the monster in a metaphorical sense... And also you're a professional one.
HOW TO PLAY (important)
Your task is to keep all residents of the block stressed out and fearful throughout your shift. By pressing the button of their door. You must report with a good average of fear when you clock out, so chop chop !
Move around with ZQSD/WASD and interact with panel buttons with the mouse.

You have 6 apartment complexes all with 6 residents to handle. You will have to move between panels and press the buttons while keeping an eye on the average fear of the block and on the indicators for every citizen's stress level.
Green Light
![]() | That means the resident is calm. You need to spam them as soon as possible, they are driving down your average ! |
Orange Light
![]() | If the light is orange, that means you at least managed to make the resident uneasy. That's a little bit better, but in that state they calm down quicker, so, you'd still better press them a bit |
Red Light
![]() | There we go, now we are talking. If the light is red, the resident is really panicking. In that state they are the most useful to you as they drive your average up the most. As a bonus, you can push them until the light starts flickering. If you can get them to flicker, that means they are close to heart attack, which means they will stay that way for way longer. But be careful ! Push them too far and they will have that heart attack. The Professional Monsters want you to keep everyone stressed out, but killing is out of the question. You will be instantly fired. So be extra careful with the red flickering. |
That's about it, good luck !
